PENS vs BEARS IN THE PLAYOFFS:   The 2016 Atlantic Division Final is the seventh playoff series between the Penguins and Bears.  The teams have played 34 games as of May 10, 2016, and have identical 17-17 records.  The Penguins have outscored the Bears, 95-91.

OT NOTES

  • The Penguins OT win in Game Four against the Bears upped Wilkes-Barre/Scranton’s all-time playoff record to 30-20 in overtime contests
  • The Penguins are 4-0 in overtime games this postseason, and their four consecutive wins in the extra frame ties the longest such streak in team history. The Penguins won Game Seven of the 2001 Western Conference Semifinal against the Philadelphia Phantoms in OT, then won Games One, Two and Three of the Western Conference Final against the Bears in overtime.
