It’s been nine years since Dustin Jeffrey broke into the pro ranks as a member of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Since joining the club for the 2008 postseason, the Sarnia, Ontario native has appeared in 131 NHL contests, taken his game to Europe (briefly), and captured a Calder Cup with the Texas Stars.
Jeffrey, who is expecting his first child next month, represented the Penguins at the 2010 AHL All-Star Classic in Portland, ME, and is back in the league’s mid-season showcase this year as a member of the Springfield Falcons. We caught up with him following Sunday night’s Skills Competition. (Photo Courtesy of Scott Thomas Photography/AHL)
